Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Reviews

The Good The Surface Pro 3 is thinner and lighter than the previous two versions, despite having a larger 12-inch display and higher screen resolution. A new kickstand makes it easier to set up and use, and the keyboard cover remains a best-in-class example. The Surface Pro 3 is now optimized for a digital pen, which is included.
The Bad That excellent keyboard cover is not included in the base price, and its improved touchpad still doesn't measure up. The chassis lacks pen storage, and even with tweaked kickstand and keyboard hinges, the Surface Pro 3 still doesn't fit perfectly on the lap.
The Bottom Line While the new Surface Pro 3 is Microsoft's best PC to date, it's more successful as a tablet than a laptop replacement.

Lenovo Y50 Specifications

The Good The Lenovo Y50 Touch has great style for a gaming laptop, plus a touchscreen, and it balances performance, size, and price to the benefit of mainstream gamers.
The Bad The display suffers from poor viewing angles and the midlevel graphics card means you can't run newer games at the highest detail settings.
The Bottom Line With the Y50 Touch, Lenovo has created a reasonably priced, not-too-big gaming laptop that doesn't look like a throwback. But the most serious PC gamers may want to hold out for a better display and faster GPU.

The rounded sides and thinner design are among the other changes noticed, but the larger screen diagonal will firmly move into a more modern era of smartphones.

Instagram With Hyperlapse lets you easily create time-lapse videos

Heads up, Instagram users. The videos in your feed are about to get a lot more professional looking.
The Facebook-owned photo- and video-sharing app on Tuesday introduced a new standalone app called Hyperlapse, which lets you easily create time-lapse videos from your mobile device. Time-lapse is a technique where video is captured at a lower frame rate than normal, and then played back at a standard frame rate. The result is that motion that usually takes a long time, like a flower blooming, appears to happen in real-time.
